Sinematiali, Feb 21, 2022 (AIP)- The Islamic mission Ahmadiyya Côte d’Ivoire has offered two mosques in Lokaha 2 and Ladiokaha, two villages located respectively 5 and 7 km from the department of Sinématiali.
These mosques were inaugurated on Sunday February 20, 2022. They cost nine million CFA francs, entirely financed by the international Ahmadiyya community.
According to the head of the Islamic mission Ahmadiyya Côte d’Ivoire, Abdul Quyyom Pasha, the construction of these mosques in the area of Sinématiali aims to give a good Islamic education to the populations.
Quyyom Pasha added that the populations of the locality, in majority of Moslem faith, however do not know Islam in its practice. “We come to bring them the teaching of the true meaning of Islam”, he underlined.
The Ahmadiyya community also intervenes in the educational and social field, through the construction of secular primary schools and village pumps.
It has more than a hundred mosques to its credit, including six in the far north of Côte d’Ivoire.
