FEED THE POOR
Feeding the poor and needy is an act that draws us closer to Allah. We earn His forgiveness, mercies and blessings through this act of charity.
“Anyone who looks after and works for a widow and a poor person is like a warrior fighting for Allah?s cause, or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all night. (Bukhari)
1. Tonight we will do a dua for people who have recently died. I receive many letters from people whose parents or close family members have passed away, and tonight let HOTD remember all those who left this world for the next one. May Allah forgive their sins and grant them to Jannah. May Allah also grant his loved ones patience and strength to cope with such grief. Amine.
2. Today, let's make a special dua for families of three young people who, unfortunately, were killed as a result of the recent riots in Birmingham, United Kingdom. May Allah grant them Jannah and give his families patience to cope with this loss. Amine.
