Renowned Islamic calligrapher and esteemed Quran scribe, Rashid Seyal, was laid to rest in Multan following his funeral prayers held at the GPO Ground on Friday. The ceremony drew a large gathering of people from various walks of life, reflecting the immense respect and admiration he commanded.
The funeral prayer was led by Allama Muhammad Mian Nawazi Saeedi. Additional prayers were offered by Allama Muhammad Farooq Khan Saeedi, the provincial Naib Nazim of Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, and Allama Abdul Aziz Saeedi.
Among those present to bid farewell to Rashid Seyal were his grieving family members, including his brother Kamal Seyal, his son Mohammad Wasil Seyal, and son-in-law Mohammad Asif. Prominent figures such as Member of National Assembly Malik Aamir Dogar, academician Dr. Tariq Ansari, and Commissioner Multan’s representative Shahid Mehmood were also in attendance.
