The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that Israeli forces killed four Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on Sunday, marking an escalation in violence across Palestinian territories.
Initially, two deaths were confirmed, but the toll later rose to four following Israeli military actions in the village of Siir, located in the Jenin district. The ministry attributed the fatalities to “the occupation’s aggression” in the area.
Efforts to provide medical assistance were hindered, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent, which stated that Israeli forces blocked their teams from accessing the bombing site near Siir.
In the morning, Israeli planes began striking the area,” said Fares Irshaid, a local resident. “Shortly after, the army entered, declaring the entire zone a closed military area. We still do not know the fate of several young men, including my nephew and a neighbor’s son,” Irshaid told AFP.

Jenin has seen repeated Israeli military incursions, including a deadly raid last month that left nine Palestinians dead. The city, frequently targeted in such operations, has faced intensified assaults amid Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza. This broader conflict has resulted in over 44,000 Palestinian deaths in Gaza, according to Palestinian authorities.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, two Palestinians, including a teenager, were killed during an Israeli raid in Yabad on November 24, the Palestinian Authority reported.
The Palestinian Health Ministry revealed that at least 780 Palestinians in the West Bank have been killed since the start of the Gaza conflict. The violence comes as Israel continues its illegal occupation of the West Bank, which began in 1967 following the Arab-Israeli War.
The situation in Jenin and across the West Bank remains dire, highlighting the growing toll of conflict and the humanitarian crisis gripping the region.
