In a significant step to bolster healthcare services during Ashoora, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Bahrain’s Minister of Health, inaugurated the Imam Al Hussain Medical Clinic in Manama. This specialized clinic has been established to cater to the needs of the Ashoora observance and is staffed by an expert medical team from Primary Health Care Centers and Government Hospitals. It boasts advanced medical facilities and a fully stocked pharmacy, ensuring comprehensive care for all visitors.
The clinic maintains direct coordination with the Accident and Emergency Department at the Salmaniya Medical Complex to facilitate swift hospital transfers if necessary. The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate; Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council; and Dr. Ejlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive of Primary Health Care Centres.

Minister Hasan commended the medical team for their diligent efforts in equipping the clinic with all essential resources to serve the participants of Ashoora. Shaikh Rashid highlighted the importance of community partnerships between government entities and civil society organizations in safeguarding public health and safety. Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh emphasized that the establishment of the Imam Al Hussain Medical Clinic exemplifies the strengthening of community partnerships during significant religious and national events, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Government Hospitals, and Primary Health Care Centers.
This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services and ensuring the well-being of its citizens during important cultural and religious observances.
