“Anyone who looks after and works for a widow and a poor person is like a warrior fighting for Allah?s cause, or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all night. (Bukhari)

Great suffering of parents

All praise is due to Allah of Exaltation, and may Allah raise the rank of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, his kind relatives and comrades, and protect his people from what he feared for them after that;

Insult your parents (^ Uquq) is one of the main sins. Everythinghour threatened those who do so with cruel torture in Hellfire. It means harming one or both parents. (hurting them a lot)Seriously kill parents is illegal, whether it is serious or easy.

Among the examples of harming parents is to curse or insult them both or both.

Among what is also considered illegal, is that the son submits to his mother, doing injustice to the father or vice versa. It will not do him good if he obeys his mother in an undertaking that will harm his father, because there must be no obedience to a person without obeying Everythinghour, Creator. Thus, helping one parent to commit an injustice towards the other is sinful.

Everythingh, ta ^L said in QurN:

وقضى ربك ألا تعبدوا لا ياه وبالوالدين إحسانا

ما يبلغن عندك الكبر أحدهما و كلاهما

لا تقل لهمآ أف ولا تنهرهما وقل لهما قولا كريما

What means: Everythinghour orders not to worship except Him, and to treat their parents graciously. If one of them is alive and old or both are alive (and old), do not say "whf“To them and do not address them with harsh words. Be humble and compassionate and speak to them with sweet and gentle words.

Everythingh, ta ^Lmade it illegal to talk to parents "whf ", which indicates that they are worried. Everythinghour He ordered one to tell his parents a generous and tender saying, especially when they were old. Also, Everythinghour orders to talk to parents in a respectful manner.

The torture of those who hurt their parents is very high, so much so that no one will be among the first people to enter Paradise. Rather, he will enter it after torture, if Everythinghour did not forgive; it is because it is one of the main sins.

Below are two yahwith QurN which contribute to a good attitude towards parents:

Everythingh, ta ^Lsaid in QurN:

ووصينا الإنسان بوالليه حسنا

yah 14 of SUrat luQmN facilities: Everythinghour encourages a person to treat her parents well, because the mother wears one in her womb with all the weakness she receives from her, and she tends to one to two years. Therefore, you need to be grateful to God and grateful parents.

Everythinghour, that ^L, also said:

This means: {Worship God, without associating any partner with Him, and treat your parents well.}

Below are two ayahs from the Qur'an that are well suited to parents:

Allah, ta-ala, said in the Quran:

ووصينا الإنسان بوالديه حملته أمه وهنا على وهن وفصاله في عامين أن اشكر لي ولوالديك إل المصير

Wa wassaynal-insana biwalidayhi hamalat-hu ummuhu wahnan ^ ala wahn, wa fisaluhu fi ^ amayni anishkur li wa liwalidayka ilayyal-masir.

Ayah 14 of Surat Luqman means: Allah calls a man to treat his parents well, because the mother wears one in her womb with all the weakness she receives from her, and she takes care of one to two years. Therefore, you need to be grateful to God and grateful parents.

The great companion Ibn Abbas said: "Do not click your clothes next to them, because dust may fall on them."

The rights of the mother are emphasized more than the rights of the father because of how much she suffers during pregnancy and childbirth, as well as her role in nursing and raising a child. Ayah in the Qur'an means: "Allah ordered one to show kindness to parents, because the mother carries pain and gives birth to pain."

As soon as a person came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: “Who deserves my good fellowship the most?” “Your mother,” answered the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). “Who's next?” Asked the man. “Your mother,” answered the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). “Who's next?” He asked. “Your mother,” answered the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). “Who's next?” The man asked. “Your father,” answered the Prophet (reported by al-Bukhari and a Muslim).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) announced that he was seriously harming his parents to be a serious sin, Al-Bukhariy and a Muslim reported his statement: “Will I not inform you about the three most powerful sins?” Those who were present replied: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “Binding of partners to Allah and cruel treatment of parents,” and when he got out of bed — he continued — and gave false testimony.

He also said: "Three people should not be among the first to enter Paradise: the one who cruelly damages his parents, the pimp and the woman who imitates people in what is specifically for them."

The prophet also said:“Allah abolished the punishment for the sins He desires on the Day of Resurrection, with the exception of sin that causes serious harm to parents, for which Allah punishes the sinner in this life before his death.”(Reported al-Hakim).

Know that no matter how many people strive to perform the five prayers, to fast and perform such acts of obedience, if one causes great harm to parents with words or deeds, the person will not be among pious Muslims. Therefore, be careful to treat your parents correctly and try to avoid harming them.

We humbly ask Allah to enlighten us with the light of Knowledge and keep us on the path of truth and righteousness.
