Ali Abu Shaheen, a senior political figure within the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, asserted that the Zionist forces aim to derail negotiations by escalating their violent acts. He emphasized that the resistance remains steadfast in its resolve and continues its struggle.
Abu Shaheen accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of seeking to extend the aggression against the Gaza Strip through further atrocities and brutal massacres. He attributed Netanyahu’s actions to a criminal mindset driven by political and personal ambitions.
Highlighting the ongoing conflict, Abu Shaheen noted that Netanyahu’s aggressive tactics are undermining the negotiation process, even as U.S. President Joe Biden has called for a ceasefire. He suggested that the resistance has demonstrated increased flexibility, but recognizes that the United States remains complicit in the conflict, applying only minimal pressure on Israel.

While acknowledging that the negotiations have not completely collapsed, Abu Shaheen stressed the importance of stopping the bloodshed. He warned that if Zionist aggression persists, it will revert the situation to its initial state. He also accused the Zionist forces of manipulating negotiation texts and being evasive, but reaffirmed that the resistance’s demands and four conditions are unequivocal and will be firmly upheld.
