FEED THE POOR
Feeding the poor and needy is an act that draws us closer to Allah. We earn His forgiveness, mercies and blessings through this act of charity.

Kosovo, one of the youngest states in Europe, achieved its liberation in June 1999 after a 16-month war with Serbia. Following years of negotiations, it declared its independence on 17 February 2007, which is now considered the primary state holiday in Kosovo.
To commemorate the 15th anniversary of this occasion, Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kosovo organised an event at the centre of the Jamaat in Prishtina on 18 February 2023 at 6pm.
Maghrib and Isha prayers were offered at the centre, after which the formal event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran with Albanian translation. The local missionary delivered a speech on “Suffering from the Perspective of the Islamic Religion”, which also alluded to the hardships faced by the people of Kosovo over two decades ago. The event concluded with a silent prayer, followed by dinner and a question and answer session.
A total of 28 individuals, including external guests, participated in the event from Podujeva, Fushë Kosova, Mitrovica, Peja, Istog, and Kumanova (North Macedonia).
