The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) has unveiled a 15-year strategic plan aimed at strengthening the organization’s vision and core objectives.
During a four-day national retreat in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, the 38th NEC of MSSN convened to chart a progressive path for the society. The event, held from January 30 to February 2, 2025, brought together approximately 50 participants, including members of the current NEC, representatives from the previous 37th NEC, esteemed personalities, and respected past leaders of the organization.

National Amir of MSSN, Mustapha Tajudeen Olumide, highlighted the retreat’s significance in equipping the newly elected executives with the necessary skills and vision to excel in their leadership roles.
“This retreat serves as a crucial platform to reaffirm that our future strength depends on the clarity of our vision today. As new executives, we must embrace excellence, uphold the legacy of our predecessors, and ensure continuous progress for the society,” he stated.
The strategic blueprint developed during the retreat is expected to guide MSSN’s initiatives, reinforcing its mission and fostering sustainable growth over the next decade and beyond.
