Abuja, Nigeria – The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, has been conferred with the Justice of Peace (JP) title by May Peace Prevail On Earth International, an organization affiliated with the United Nations Department of Public Information.
The recognition was formally announced during the United Nations International Day of Peace, celebrated globally on September 19, 2025. The honor acknowledges Prof. Usman’s steadfast commitment to promoting peace, humanitarian values, and ethical governance within and beyond Nigeria.
Award Presentation and Recognition
The prestigious award was presented to Prof. Usman by Auwal Ali Haladu, Chairman of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), alongside Shamsuddeen Abba, Head of Protocol for the organization.
