Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Senegal was able to inaugurate a new mosque in Bambatouma, Ziguinchor region on 25 June 2021. 

The total area of the mosque is 80 square metres with a capacity of 200 worshipers. 

The construction work was supervised by Kashif Javed Sahib, Regional Missionary for Ziguinchor. 

In building the mosque, the local Lajna members provided water for construction and the local Khuddam assisted in the labour.

On 25 June 2021, Nasir Ahmad Sahib, Amir and Missionary-in-Charge Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Senegal formally inaugurated the mosque by leading the Friday prayer. 

After the prayer, a question and answer session was held, in which a detailed introduction of Islam Ahmadiyyat, the importance of the coming of the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi in Islam, his introduction and his services to Islam were explained in detail.

About 350 Ahmadis and non-Ahmadis from 23 villages attended the event, including imams and chiefs from 15 non-Ahmadi villages.
