Amid escalating tensions in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal, a 12-member delegation from the Samajwadi Party is set to visit the region on Tuesday to assess the aftermath of recent violent clashes.
The violence erupted on Sunday when a court-ordered survey of a Mughal-era mosque sparked protests. A large group opposing the survey engaged in confrontations with law enforcement, resulting in stone-pelting and chaos. The clashes left four people dead and several others injured, intensifying the situation in the area.

The visit by the Samajwadi Party delegation aims to examine the situation on the ground and address the grievances of the affected community as authorities work to restore order.
