The General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced designated visiting hours for men and women at the Hijr Ismail, also known as the Hateem, located adjacent to the Holy Kaaba in Makkah. This area, cherished for its proximity to the Kaaba, now offers visitors a structured timeframe to enhance their worship experience and ensure smooth movement within the sacred site.
Each visitor is permitted a maximum stay of 10 minutes within Hijr Ismail. According to the schedule, entry for men is available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., while the evening hours from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. are reserved for women. Access to the Hateem will be granted through the designated western gate for this area.
Hijr Ismail is a semicircular area marked by a low wall on the northern side of the Kaaba. Historically, it was part of the Kaaba, and the space between the wall and the Kaaba is still regarded as a significant and spiritually rich part of the sacred structure.
The authority emphasized the importance of visitors following the allotted entry times and guidelines to maintain a seamless flow and to enhance the spiritual experience for all worshippers. These organized schedules are part of the authority’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality services and ensuring a safe, spiritually fulfilling experience for all pilgrims and visitors.
