Three Suspects Face Charges in Darwen Mosque Charity Theft

In a distressing turn of events, authorities have pressed charges against three individuals in connection with the theft of charity funds from a prominent Darwen mosque.

The incident unfolded at the revered Madina Mosque and Islamic Community Centre over the weekend, according to Lancashire Police, who swiftly responded to the situation.

Following a diligent investigation, law enforcement officers apprehended three suspects as a van was intercepted in Blackburn during the early hours of Sunday, October 1st.

The accused have been identified as Dylan Brown, 28, hailing from Blackburn Road in Accrington; Jack Pilkington, 33, residing on Emma Street in Accrington; and James Honey, 31, a resident of Accrington. All three men have been charged with offenses related to the burglary and carrying tools equipped for such criminal activities.

Dylan Brown found himself in custody, scheduled to make an appearance before Blackburn Magistrates Court on October 2nd. Meanwhile, Jack Pilkington and James Honey have been granted bail and are set to appear before the same court at a later date.
