Surah Ar Rahman is the 55th surah of the Quran. The surah is very special with the beautiful meaning of it refers to the merciful of Allah. That is why surah Ar Rahman well known with the Beauty of the Quran.
It contains 78 verses which were revealed for the prophet Muhammad while He was in Mecca.

فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ١٣
“Then which of your Lord’s favors would
you deny?”
Speaking of the special verses in the Quran surah Ar Rahman, there are so many benefits we can get by reciting them. The meaning of Ar Rahman the first name in Asmaul Khusna has a special place in our hearts.
The prophet Muhammad said that “ Everything has an adornment, and the adornment of the Quran is Surah Ar Rahman.”
So, here some of the benefits of the Quran Surah Ar Rahman that compatible with daily use as the benefits of memorizing the Quran.
1. Become More Knowledgeable
In the fourth of the first verses of the Quran Surah Ar Rahman explain the merciful one of Allah. Every verse comes with the merciful one of Allah which the most pointing as He is the one creature.
As the creator, Allah explains that the Quran is the teacher of ours. It is the source of education for the truth and falsehood, justice and injustice, right and wrong. That is why there is proper etiquette of reading the holy Quran.
اَلرَّحْمٰنُۙ
– ١
عَلَّمَ
الْقُرْاٰنَۗ – ٢
خَلَقَ
الْاِنْسَانَۙ – ٣
عَلَّمَهُ
الْبَيَانَ – ٤
“(Allah)
The Most Gracious, Who has taught the Qur’an. He created man, taught him to
speak well.”
This means, if we recite them daily we will get more blessings from Allah. We become more knowledgable that everything on earth is come and return to Allah.
He created the man and everything on earth which we should become a knowledgeable person.
2. Becomes a Grateful Person
The benefits of the Quran Surah Ar Rahman makes us become more a grateful person. As we recite every day, we understand that Allah gave us His wealthiness so that we understand which one is good and bad.
And that explains in the verse that means “Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny?” mentions 31 times.
3. Become the Lucky Person
In the verses of 46 up to 55 of the Quran Surah Ar Rahman, mentions the rewards and the blessing to mankind and jinn who led pious to live from Allah.
He granted all of them with every single deed they did because everything is countable on the Judgment Day.
وَلِمَنْ
خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِۚ – ٤٦
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ – ٤٧
ذَوَاتَآ
اَفْنَانٍۚ – ٤٨
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٤٩
فِيْهِمَا
عَيْنٰنِ تَجْرِيٰنِۚ – ٥٠
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٥١
فِيْهِمَا
مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجٰنِۚ – ٥٢
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ – ٥٣
مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ
عَلٰى فُرُشٍۢ بَطَاۤىِٕنُهَا مِنْ اِسْتَبْرَقٍۗ وَجَنَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍۚ –
٥٤
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٥٥
“And for those who are afraid of facing
God, there are two heavens. Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny? The
two heavens have various trees and fruits. In the two heavens, there are two
springs that radiate. Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny? In the
two heavens, there are various fruits in pairs. Then which of your Lord’s favors
would you deny? They leaned on the rug, which had thick silk inside. And the
fruits in both heavens can be (picked) up close. Then which of your Lord’s
favors would you deny?”
As we recite the Quran Surah Ar Rahman
every day, we become more understood that the time is approaching fast.
Besides, the account will not be able to avoid by us. And in the verses of 31
up to 34, we have been warned about this.
سَنَفْرُغُ
لَكُمْ اَيُّهَ الثَّقَلٰنِۚ – ٣١
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٣٢
يٰمَعْشَرَ
الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْفُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ
السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوْاۗ لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍۚ – ٣٣
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٣٤
“We will give our full attention to you,
O people, and genies!. Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny? O genie
and man! If you are able to penetrate (cross) the corners of heaven and earth,
then penetrate. You will not be able to penetrate it except by strength (from
Allah). Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny?”
4. Removes Hypocrisy
Surah Ar Rahman can remove the hypocrisy
from one’s heart. As we recite verse by verse from the Quran Surah Ar Rahman,
we understand the meaning of them. That makes us has believed in faith and put
the trust in Allah only.
The Quran Surah Ar Rahman can purify your heart from hypocrisy if you recite it after Fajr prayer on Friday as the best time to study the Quran. It claims can purify your heart from the greatest evil which causes hypocrisy feeling.
5. Helper in the Judgement Day
As we recite the Quran Surah Ar Rahman every day, it will help us on the Judgement Day. Muslims believe that the surah will appear as the form of a beautiful man.
As mentions in verses 35 up to 40 that the accountability will be held on the resurrection day. Muslims believe if they recite this surah, it will bring them into a safe place like in Jannah (Heaven).
يُرْسَلُ
عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍۙ وَّنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرَانِۚ – ٣٥
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٣٦
فَاِذَا
انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِۚ – ٣٧
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٣٨
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ
لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ ذَنْۢبِهٖٓ اِنْسٌ وَّلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ – ٣٩
فَبِاَيِّ
اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ – ٤٠
“To you (jinn and humans), you will be sent a flame and liquid copper (heat) so that you cannot save yourself (from it). Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny? So when the sky has split and become red like roses (oil). Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny? So on that day man and jinn did not ask about his sin. Then which of your Lord’s favors would you deny?”
