Agong Urges Muslims to Embrace Prophet Muhammad’s Virtues on Maulidur Rasul

In a heartfelt address on Maulidur Rasul, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah delivered a powerful message to Muslims, emphasizing the importance of truth and the rejection of falsehoods.

He highlighted how the destructive culture of slander has played a significant role in the downfall of civilizations and the decline of great powers, citing historical instances such as the tragic assassination of the third caliph, Saidina Uthman Affan.

Agong remarked, “These dire consequences of fitnah, or slander, not only resulted in the loss of a prominent Islamic leader but also wreaked havoc on the harmony and stability of nations.”
