The show, held on March 7 at Gulmarg, a popular ski destination, was intended to mark the brand’s 15th anniversary. However, it quickly became the center of intense criticism, with many deeming the display of “obscene” outfits highly inappropriate for the sacred period.
The event drew backlash from various religious, political, and social groups, who condemned it as an affront to local traditions and values. The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, also voiced his disapproval, calling the event a “complete disregard for local sensitivities” and ordering an official report on the matter within 24 hours.
