Question:
I need to ask a question that has banned Islam from having sex throughout pregnancy (from the 1st month to the last month), please give me your guidance. My husband almost makes me satisfy him, and I get sick during sexual intercourse. I am pregnant for 6 months.
Assalamu Alakum va Rakhmatullahi va Barakatuh
Thank you for your question.
Marriage relationships are resolved during pregnancy. A husband and wife can enjoy intercourse according to their needs, as is often the case. Each partner should be attentive to others in terms of need, health and time. Mutual understanding and moderation are the key to a healthy marital relationship.
In your pregnancy, if you suffer from pain during intercourse, your husband should respect your feelings and hold out until you feel better.
Islamist, the only prohibited cases of sexual intercourse are:
• When the wife experiences menstruation and / or postpartum bleeding.
• When one of the partners is fasting during the day
• When one of the partners is in the state of ihram
And Allah knows best.
