Muslim World League Reaffirms Support for Syria Amid Security Threats

The Muslim World League (MWL) has reiterated its firm stance in support of the Syrian Arab Republic, standing in unity with its government and citizens against any actions that threaten the country’s sovereignty, stability, and internal cohesion.

In a public statement shared on its official account on the X platform (formerly Twitter) this Tuesday, the MWL emphasized its commitment to backing Syria’s leadership in efforts to safeguard the nation, maintain civil peace, and uphold the rule of law across all regions.

The League expressed deep concern over ongoing external interference and attempts to destabilize Syria through divisive means. It underscored the importance of national unity and respect for Syria’s independent decision-making.

In the same statement, the MWL strongly condemned the repeated aggressions by Israeli forces on Syrian territory, labeling them as blatant violations of international laws and human rights protocols. The League called upon the global community to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its ongoing breaches of sovereignty and urged unified action to uphold justice and international norms.

The Muslim World League, based in the holy city of Makkah, continues to play an active role in promoting peace, interfaith dialogue, and solidarity across the Muslim world.
