What do the scholars of the Dīn and muftīs of the Sacred Law state regarding the following issue: Can a husband and wife have sexual relations during the month of Muharram?

الجواب بعون الملک الوھاب اللھم ھدایۃ الحق والصواب
There is no obstacle in a husband and wife having sexual relations during the month of Muharram. There are many incorrect suppositions of this kind amongst the awāmm (lay people) and they are all false. Apart from during the state of fasting, our Islamic Law does not restrict a husband and wife having sexual relations on any day of the year.
