Background on Muslim Voter Influence

With an estimated 2.5 million Muslim voters in the U.S., this community is once again positioned to be influential in the upcoming election. Concentrated in pivotal swing states, Muslim voters have the potential to impact outcomes in not only the presidential race but also in numerous congressional, state, and local elections. CAIR’s report aims to provide a comprehensive look into the political tendencies and voting priorities of this critical demographic.

Earlier this year, CAIR conducted polling from August 25-27, gathering responses from over 1,000 verified Muslim voters nationwide. A follow-up in September explored voter preferences in crucial battleground states including Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, revealing potential trends that could shape the election outcome.

Important Note

As a nonprofit, CAIR does not endorse or oppose any political candidates and remains neutral regarding election results.
