As of Friday, the abductors have demanded a ransom of N30 million from the family for their release.
Governor Radda expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing the kidnapping of the young scholar and his family as a tragic event.
“My heart goes out to the victims, their family, and loved ones. We are praying for their safe return and are committed to taking decisive steps to ensure their freedom,” Radda stated.
He reassured the public that the government is actively working towards the safe rescue of all abducted individuals and has urged security agencies to intensify efforts in securing their release.
The governor also reiterated his administration’s dedication to tackling security challenges across Katsina State. He called on citizens to offer prayers for the safe return of Rabiu-Faskari and all others held in captivity.
