Islamic Jihad Condemns Ben-Gvir’s Al-Aqsa Entry as Provocative Affront to Muslim World

The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has issued a strong condemnation following the latest Israeli actions at the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. The group described the recent developments as a dangerous escalation that deeply offends the sentiments of Muslims globally.

In a public statement, the movement criticized Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir for entering the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque alongside a large group of settlers. The event, marked by the performance of Talmudic rituals under heavy military escort, was denounced as a severe violation of the mosque’s religious sanctity.

Islamic Jihad warned that such actions are not only provocative but also part of a broader agenda to Judaize the holy site and challenge its Islamic identity. The movement emphasized that Al-Aqsa Mosque holds immense spiritual and religious significance for Muslims worldwide, and any desecration will not be tolerated.

The statement further called on Arab and Islamic nations to rise in defense of Al-Aqsa and take immediate, united action to deter continued Israeli transgressions. The movement reiterated its commitment to defending Palestinian rights and sacred sites by all means necessary.
