A leading Islamic organization in Nigeria, Nawair-ur-Deen Society, has announced plans to establish a School of Nursing in Abeokuta, underscoring its commitment to advancing education and healthcare in the country.
Speaking at the society’s Ramadan Tafsir in Idi-Oro, the National President, Alhaji Ganiyu Balogun, revealed that the initiative is part of the organization’s broader efforts to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s educational and medical sectors. He further disclosed that a significant expanse of land has already been secured in Abeokuta for the project, with construction set to commence shortly.

Balogun emphasized that the success and impact of the society’s existing educational institutions—ranging from primary to secondary schools—motivated the leadership to expand into the healthcare sector. He highlighted that alumni from these schools have gone on to excel in various professional fields, actively contributing to the country’s progress.
He called on philanthropists and well-meaning individuals to support the initiative to ensure its swift completion, noting that such contributions would be instrumental in bolstering healthcare education in Nigeria.
Senator Ganiyu Solomon, who chaired the occasion, urged Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing that ongoing economic and political reforms are aimed at addressing past challenges and steering the nation toward sustainable growth.
