Reno Omokri Explains His Admiration for Islam and Respect for Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Renowned author and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has openly shared his admiration for Islam and his deep respect for Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He described Islam as a religion that provides comprehensive guidance for all aspects of life, which he finds remarkable.

Islam: A Manual for Life

Omokri stated that he respects Islam because of its structured approach to life, offering clear guidance from birth to death. He refuted allegations that his admiration for the religion is a political gimmick, clarifying that his views have remained consistent over the years.

Sharing his thoughts on his Facebook page on Friday, February 7, 2025, he wrote:

“Someone asked me why, as a non-Muslim, I admire Islam and respect Muslims. They assumed it was mere ‘eye service’ or a ‘campaign gimmick.’ However, my stance on this predates my political involvement, and there is documented proof to support that.”

“Why do I appreciate Islam? My answer is simple. While I follow the Jewish Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus), I recognize that Islam provides guidelines for every aspect of human life, from birth to death. This clarity offers stability and serves as a manual for living.”

“I will remain committed to Yeshua, but I acknowledge that while the Old Testament (Tanakh) and the Gospels provide direction, the Quran and Hadiths offer explicit instructions on even the most basic human actions, such as personal hygiene.”

A Respect for Muslims Without Conversion

Omokri emphasized that one can respect a faith without converting to it. He reiterated that his appreciation for Islam stems from its structured way of life and the moral teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), whom he considers a role model.
