The question that is contained in the title of this message is actually answered directly in the Quran. The following is a translation of Chapter 97 of the Islamic holy book:

"We sent it [the Quran] down at Night Frame. And what can let you know what the "Night of the Frame" is? Night of the Frame is much better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit will converge in him with the departure of your Lord with each team. The world before the debut of the dawn ”(Q. 97).

Why is Laylatul Qadr important?

Laylatul Frame, often translated as the Night of Power, or the Night of the Decree, or the Night of Glory falls on one of the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan. This is the night when God began the revelation of the Quran. Worship done on this single night is equivalent to 84 years — basically, life-long worship over that night. He has the potential when he approached with sincerity to receive great forgiveness and mercy from God. In one of the stories it says: “Anyone who prays for Lilatul Kadre from faith and sincerity will receive all his past sins”[Bukhari and Muslim],

When is Laylatul Qadr?

The exact date of this night is unknown. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us in the narratives of looking for Leylatul Qadr on one of the last ten nights in Ramadan, especially on strange nights. This means that the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th nights of Ramadan have a high potential to be Leylatul Qadr. There is beauty in a date that is not known, because it allows a person to engage in additional worship during the last days of Ramadan in the hope of catching the correct date. If one particular night were known, people would naturally make all their efforts for that night and probably would have lost other nights.

What are Muslims doing on Lilatul Kadre?

Today, many Muslims spend these nights in a mosque, where there are programs dedicated to creating an additional spiritual environment. Some take days off work so they can stay up all night without worrying about their work. After the prayers in Tarawie, the imams will tell the Muslims to tie their belts and fall into the ground in these last days. It is very possible that many people feel burned by the end of the month, but this is the time! Strengthening is necessary for community scientists so that people leave the month on a high note.

The worship made on this night takes many forms. Additional prayers, the reading of the Quran, sincere prayers and the glorification of God have their proper place. In particular, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advised Muslims to utter a prayer that translates: "O Allah, you really forgive, you love to forgive, so forgive me." A wonderful aspect about this prayer: Muslims are asking God to do what He already loves and wants to do, forgive me!

Like a child who sees something terrible, and then runs to the mother out of fear of it, we must in the same way run away from God from punishment. Just as a mother is for his child with open arms, God must also accept us with a new faith and focus on Him.

May all Muslims finish this blessed month of Ramadan, may God give you the strength to perform on a high note with true faith and sincerity. May this month be a means for you to spiritually cleanse yourself and come out fresh. May God make it easier for you to continue the good habits you developed this month for the rest of the year and for the rest of your life!
