Some time ago, the show was broadcast in Arabic called “كيف تتلذذ بالصلاة?”, Which means “How can you experience the sweetness of prayer?” Young Kuwaiti da & # 39; iya named Mishary Al-Kharaz. For many of us, our khushoo in our prayer hesitates. What khushoo? It is a state of mind that contains peace, tranquility, dignity, and humility during prayer, which comes from the heart that stands before Allah in humility and humility. Sometimes in prayer we have so much devotion and we can feel every word; but in other cases we are talking about ritual movements and nothing else. inshaAllah (God willing), I will try to summarize the highlights of this show every week.

Story Ansari and Muhajir

at Sudan Abu Dawud  It is transmitted by Hasan the (good) chain that in one of the battles the Prophet ﷺ appointed two guards, one of Muhajiroon and one of AnsarAt some point, the Ansari got up to pray when the man from Muhajiroon bent down to sleep. Man from mushrikov (the unbelievers), who was there to see this, and shot a small arrow at Ansari, who was praying. He hit him, but Ansari with some difficulty removed the arrow and continued to pray when blood was leaking from him. mushrikSeeing this, shot another arrow. Ansari was able to remove him and continue to pray. However, Ansari could not bear the pain of the third arrow and fell skin condition (bows) and sujud (prostration), and it was then that the man of Muhajiron woke up when he saw that his friend was leaking blood. Seeing this, the mushrik fled. “Subhanallah! (Glory to Allah!) Why didn’t you warn me when he first hit you ?! “Exclaimed Muhajir. Ansari answer: “I read sura (the chapter of the Quran), which I love, and I did not want to interrupt it. ” Allah Akbar (Allah is great!) Imagine the condition of this person in Salah (Prayer).

Sweetness of prayer

Prayer is one of the most beautiful bows. When he does taslima to put an end to prayer, there is a certain sense of serenity. Ibn al-Jawzi said about prayer:

نا في روضة طعامنا فيها الخشوع و شرابنا فيها الدموع

“We are in the garden where our food khushoo (devotion), and our drink is the tears that flow. ”

For a person who has true dedication Salah, his soul is not even with him; as Ibn Taymiyah said, his soul actually bypasses the throne of Allah.

We can say that they were the people of the old. No one else feels it. But this is not true; you only need to realize the importance of prayer and unlock secrets khushoo try this unique sweetness. Then prayer will be your refuge; deliverance from your distress; what are you looking forward to; and that which you desire will never end.

Let’s start unlocking these secrets and truly connect with our Lord when we pray.

First step

The first step is that we must change our understanding khushoohaving khushoo it does not just mean that you are concentrating and you are not distracted. Having a real heart is only the first level. khushooAs if you had just entered the door, and now you have the whole house to explore. There are depths and depths for khushoo,

Some may say that having a real heart is quite difficult. Before we begin prayer, we must consider it in perspective. Let’s say we spend ten minutes in each prayer. This is equal to fifty minutes a day, so not even one hour. The remaining twenty three hours for our Dunya (this world). Can we give these fifty minutes exclusively to Allah, or should we turn them into Dunya also?

Think about it before you begin your prayer so that your nufs (i) does not tell you that it is too difficult to concentrate, because you can do it. Remember that the sweetness of being before Allah is far superior to sweetness. Dunya distracts you.

Greater Depth

There is a great depth and this understanding. Truly realizing what you are reading, and contemplating it. At the exhibition, Mishari Al-Harazh declared: “Let me introduce you to one of your biggest competitors in Salah“Do you know who he introduced?”

One of the pillars in MasjidYes, the actual physical pillar. Any pillar, whether you are at home, work or Masjidthis is your competition. What for?

Because if you stand in prayer, it costs longer. When you are in your sujud, he is in sujud longer. You doing tasbih, he does tasbih for longer. How? Allah says in the Qur’an:

All rights reserved.

“… And there is nothing, except that he exalts [Allah] by his praise but you don’t understand them [way of ] elevation “(quran, 17:44).

And:

ولم تر ن ٱلله يسجد

“Do you not see that to Allah is he who is in heaven, and who is on earth, and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving beings, and many people? But on many, the punishment was justified ”(Quran, 22:18).

“But I read the Quran!” We say. You are not the only one who reads the Quran,

However, if you ask a pillar or a parrot what they understand, they will not be able to answer. So we need to ask ourselves: are we really better? What does this mean when we say “samiya allah liman hamid“? What about tahiyyat? Not a general meaning, but a specific meaning. inshaAllah throughout this series we will understand these values so that we can reach this level khushoo,

One last thing …

Do not say: “But I can not!” As Allah will ask you to have khushoo at Salah and then make it impossible for you? Even if Arabic is not your first language, did not Allah know that Islam would spread everywhere? A & # 39; udhubillah (I seek refuge with Allah) from any such thought.

So remember you CanStrive and you will achieve it. inshaAllah (Allah desires). Remember that Allah is magnanimous, more generous than we can imagine. If you take a step towards Him, He is the One who comes to you at speed. Allah says:

وٱلذين جهدوا ينا لنهدينهم سبلنا وإن ٱلله لمع ٱلمحسنين

“And those who strive for us – we will certainly guide them to Our ways” (Quran, 29:69).

So Bismillah (in the name of Allah), and inshaAllah let us pray that by the end of this we all have much more khushoo than before.
