This is an approximate area, outside of the exit from Marwah, where the house of Ummul Mumineen, Khadija was located (may Allah be pleased with it). It was here that the Prophet (saw) lived from the time of his marriage with her, until he emigrated to Medina.

When the Prophet (saw) married Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), he left his uncle Abu Talib’s home to his bride’s home. During their marriage, he (saw) was 25 years old, and Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was 40 years old. They stayed together for 25 years.

Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was the Prophet’s first wife (saw), he did not marry any other during her lifetime. She bore all his children, except Ibrahim, who was born to Mariya Qibtiya (Mary the Copt). All children were born at her home. They were called (in order of birth) Kasim, Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthoom, Fatima, Abdullah and Ibrahim (however, scholars disagree with the exact number and order of birth). All sons died in childhood, but all daughters lived to see their father become a prophet. Each daughter accepted Islam and migrated to Medina, and everyone except Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) died while the Prophet was alive (saw). Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) died six months after the death of her father.

Like their closest relatives, the Prophet (saw) and Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) also expanded the circle of their families. Barakah (who later became more widely known as Umm Ayman), was a freed African slave whom the Prophet (saw) inherited from his father and whom he sometimes affectionately called “mother.” Zaid bin Haritha was a boy’s slave, presented by the Prophet (saw) from Khadija as a wedding gift (may Allah be pleased with her); The prophet released him (saw), but Zaid decided to stay with him and became an adopted son. The Prophet (saw) also took his cousin Ali (ra) into his family because of the financial difficulties his uncle Abu Talib experienced.

When the Prophet (saw) received the first revelation of the Quran on the mountain of Hira, he returned home and said to Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her): “Wrap me, wrap me”. Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) wrapped him in a blanket. When he (saw) soon found peace of mind, he told about Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) what happened to him, with the remark: “I feel threatened my life.” Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), she replied: “By no means do I swear to Allah that He will never put you to shame. You enter into a relationship, you tell the truth, you carry the burden of people, you help the disadvantaged, you entertain guests, and you soften the pain and grief suffered for the sake of truth. ” She did not hesitate to believe in him and immediately converted to Islam,

The boycott of Muslims in Sheeba Abi Talib caused heavy damage to the health of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), and soon after it ended, she died. She was a trusted adviser and faithful companion of the Prophet and was known as the Mother of Believers. The Prophet (saw) once said about Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her): “When no one believed me, she believed in me, when people accused me of lying, she confirmed my veracity, and when people tried to destroy me, she made me partner in her wealth.

The Prophet (saw) went to the house of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), from where they set off on the Hijrah to Madinah.
