MacGregor insulted Khabib Nurmagomedov’s wife and all Muslim women

Irish mixed-style fighter (MMA) Conor McGregor brought on himself a storm of indignation on social networks after he posted a tweet with insult to the wife of Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov and all Muslim women in general.

MacGregor posted on his social media page a wedding photo of Nurmagomedov and his wife, where she was wearing a hijab and a white veil, and next he put a photo of his head wrapped in a white towel, in a comment to the collage calling the Muslim woman a “towel.”

MacGregor’s tweet was removed shortly, IslamReligionGuardian reports, according Business Insider. Nurmagomedov refrained from responding to the insult of the defeated rival, but athlete manager Ali Abdelaziz responded with indignation to the Irish tweet and condemned him to rude mockery of Islam.
