It is believed that this footprint of 5’7 “by 2’6” is the footprint of the Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), which was said to be 60 cubits tall. It is located on the top of a mountain in Sri Lanka, called Adam’s Peak (also known as Sri Pada – Holy Footprint).

Some scholars believe that when Adam (peace be upon him) was taken out of paradise and placed in this world, he landed in Sri Lanka. Buddhists believe that this is the footprint of the Buddha and the place of worship (as shown above). Please note that this place has been shown for informational purposes only; This is not a place of worship for Muslims.

FEED THE POOR

Feeding the poor and needy is an act that draws us closer to Allah. We earn His forgiveness, mercies and blessings through this act of charity.

“Anyone who looks after and works for a widow and a poor person is like a warrior fighting for Allah?s cause, or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all night. (Bukhari)
