A man in Blackburn has issued a public apology after posting videos online that raised alarm among the local Muslim community. The individual, a YouTuber from the area, was seen filming near mosques, prompting concerns from community members who quickly took to social media to warn others about his actions.
The videos were initially shared on both YouTube and Instagram, gaining attention within the community. Over the weekend, another video surfaced on WhatsApp showing what appeared to be an incident targeting a residential property, where the police were also filmed at the scene by the homeowner.
On Monday, the man responded to the growing backlash by posting a message on Facebook, where he apologized to the Muslim community for any offense caused by the mosque-related videos. By Tuesday, both the original videos and the apology had been removed from his social media accounts.
